Alice Gabathuler

Alice Gabathuler (born November 28, 1961 in Walenstadt ; legal resident in Wartau ) is a Swiss author of books for young people and radio plays . She lives with her family in Werdenberg in the canton of St. Gallen .

Life

Born and raised in Switzerland , she worked there as a radio presenter , copywriter , English teacher and partner in a private English school . In 2009 she gave her shares in the school to her business partner in order to devote herself more to writing. In 2014 she received the Hansjörg Martin Prize for her youth novel “no_way_out”. In 2016 she founded the publishing houseda bux ” in Buchs with the authors Stephan Sigg and Tom Zai .
