Alicia ( also Alix ) Maria Carolina Ferdinanda Rachel Giovanna Filomena Princess of Bourbon-Parma (born December 27, 1849 in Parma , Italy; † January 16, 1935 in Schwertberg , Upper Austria) was the last (titular) Grand Duchess of Tuscany .

Life

Alicia was a daughter of Duke Charles III. von Parma (1823–1854) and the French Princess Louise Marie Therese (1819–1864), only daughter of the Duke of Berry, Charles Ferdinand de Bourbon and his wife, Princess Maria Karolina of Naples-Sicily .

Marriage and offspring

She married Grand Duke Ferdinand IV of Tuscany , Archduke of Austria, son of Leopold II of Tuscany and Princess Maria Antonia of Naples-Sicily on January 11, 1868 in Frohsdorf . Together they had ten children:
