Alireza Mansourian (born December 2, 1971 in Tehran ) is a former Iranian football player and coach.

Career

societies

Alireza Mansourian began his career with his hometown club Esteghlal Tehran and moved to the Greek Super League in 1998 with Skoda Xanthi and Apollon Smyrnis . In 2000 he came to FC St. Pauli in the 2nd Bundesliga . With the Hamburg team he rose to the Bundesliga in 2001 . In the 2001/02 season he played four games for Kiezkicker in the German upper house.

National team

At the 1998 World Cup , Mansourian was a member of the Iranian national soccer team and was substituted on in two group games. In the 1-0 loss to Yugoslavia and the 2-1 win over the United States.

Trainer

From 2014 to 2016 he was a coach at Naft Tehran FC. He then spent a year as a coach at Esteghlal Tehran , where he was already on the pitch during his active career. From November 15, 2018 he will be a trainer at Zob Ahan.
