Aljaksej Abromchyk ( Belarusian Аляксей Абромчык , English transcription Aliaksey Abromchyk ; born February 13, 1991 ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Aljaksej Abromtschyk made his international debut at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2009 in Canmore , where he won the bronze medal in his first race, the individual, behind Ludwig Ehrhart and Antti Raatikainen . In the sprint he was ninth, in the pursuit race eleventh and missed another medal win with the Belarusian relay in fourth place. A year later he reached the ranks 19 in the individual, seven in the sprint, eleven in the pursuit and five with the relay in Torsby . This is followed by the Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě , where Abromchyk was 22nd of the individual, 25th of the sprint, 17th of the pursuit and ninth in the relay race. Only a little later, the Belarusian ran the junior races at the European Championships in Ridanna , where he was 34th in the sprint, 18th in the pursuit and ninth in the individual. With Iryna Kryuko , Darja Nestertschik and Aljaksandr Daroschka he also won the bronze medal in the mixed relay race behind the representations of Russia and France. At the European Championships 2012 in Osrblie Abromtschyk was first used in the juniors and finished ninth in the sprint, was 15th in the pursuit and 22nd in the individual.

Since the 2011/12 season Abromchyk has started with the men. He contested his first race in the IBU Cup in Ridnaun and finished 51st in a sprint. At the next station in Obertilliach , the Belarusian won points for the first time as 35th in a sprint and achieved his best position so far with 23rd place in the pursuit race based on it. The first international championships for men were the European Championships in 2012 in Osrblie, where Abromchyk, after appearances in the juniors on the side of Uladsimir Aljanischka , Uladsimir Tschapelin and Aljaksandr Daroschka in the relay race for the men, came in ninth place.
