Allée couverte de la Bellée

The Allée couverte de la Bellée (also Allée couverte im Bois de la Bellée or Allée couverte du bois Couturier; Bellettaie or Bellehaye called) is located northeast of Boury-en-Vexin near Gisors in the Oise department near the border with the Eure department in Picardy in France .

The well-preserved gallery grave in the front area is located in a private forest. The remains of more than a dozen of the partially overturned bearing stones and a single capstone above the entrance have been preserved. The bearing stones are partially designed in two layers, with the upper stone overhanging on both sides, a very rare construction. The chamber is about 10.0 meters long and 1.5 meters wide.

The plant is due to the Petroglyph of La Déesse Mère on the right side of the soul hole known -Zugangs. It consists of a four-row necklace and two breasts. This motif can also be found in the plants of Crec'h Quillé near Saint-Quay-Perros , La Maison des Feins by Tressé, Prajou-Menhir near Trébeurden and Mougau-Bihan near Commana .

A menhir stood near the gallery, but it was overturned. The Allée couverte des Vaux-Louvets by Vaudancourt was also nearby .
