All England 1899
The All England 1899 took place on April 4, 1899 in London . It was the first edition of the most important badminton championship at the time ; the first edition was still called Badminton Association Tournament 1899. Only in this first edition were only the three double disciplines played, the women's and men's singles were not yet in the program in 1899. The predecessor tournament of All England was the Guildford Open .
