Everything just stolen is the third album by the Leipzig band Die Prinzen and was released on November 12, 1993.

background

In September 1993 the princes released the single and the video Alles nur stolen . More singles were everywhere , you are crazy and what should I give her . From March to May 1994 there was the Alles-nur stolen tour for this album . The third a cappella album was released on November 11, 1993. The quintet would have liked to see themselves dressed in frog green and crowned gold on the cover , but the record company insisted on a drawn motif, a pirate flag with a frog silhouette , which bears a certain resemblance to the previous cover. The existing Froschkönig photos were used for the back cover and the press promotion . The CD promotion included living decorations in shop windows in the largest German cities, and elsewhere where the band did not sit in the shop window, at least gigantic commercial decorations . The album sold more than 785,000 times, for which the band received a platinum record and the golden tuning fork . It lasted 41 weeks, with a peak in 4th place in the German album charts. In addition, the group received awards in the ECHO Awards in 1993 in the categories "Group National Rock / Pop" and "National Video Clip".

On the later albums the style changed, the music became more rock and used more electronic elements. The lyrics became more aggressive and sarcastic. The typical a cappella singing took a back seat.
