history

Allmersbach am Weinberg was mentioned for the first time in 1247 in a document from Pope Innocent IV . Like Kleinaspach, it belonged to the Lichtenberg lordship with which it fell to Württemberg in 1357 . Allmersbach belonged to the Bottwar office with its seat in Großbottwar and came to the Marbach regional office in 1811 and, with its dissolution in 1938, to the Backnang district .

Allmersbach am Weinberg was thus part of the Kingdom of Württemberg from 1806 to 1918 , of the Free People's State of Württemberg from 1918 and of Württemberg-Baden from 1945 to 1952 .

The community of Allmersbach am Weinberg was established in 1820 and existed until it merged with the communities of Großaspach , Kleinaspach and Rietenau to form the community of Aspach on February 1, 1972. The community had an area of ​​3.87 km².
