Vegetative characteristics
Aloe capmanambatoensis grows stemless or short stem-forming, sprouts and forms groups. The ten long, pointed leaves form dense rosettes . The rosettes are 10 centimeters high and up to 40 centimeters in diameter. The leaf blade is 20 to 25 inches long and 4 inches wide. On the dark reddish-green upper side of the leaf there are whitish, longitudinally arranged spots. The spots are less noticeable on the gray-green underside. The broad triangular teeth on the leaf margin are small and often converge.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence is simple or consists of short branches. It reaches a length of up to 1.2 meters. The loose, cylindrical grapes are up to 40 centimeters long and consist of about 20 flowers. The narrow, lanceolate bracts have a length of about 10 to 15 millimeters. The vermilion flowers have white tips with green veins and are up to 45 millimeters long stalks . The flowers are 25 to 40 millimeters long. At the level of the ovary , the flowers are 7 millimeters in diameter. They are not narrowed beyond that. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 15 to 30 millimeters. The stamens and the stylus do not protrude from the flower.
Systematics and distribution
Aloe capmanambatoensis is widespread in the northeast of Madagascar on granite at heights of about 50 meters. The species is only known from the locality of the type.
