Aloe sinkatana is a species of aloes in the subfamily of the Affodill family (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet sinkatana refers to the occurrence of the species near Sinkat in Sudan.

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe sinkatana grows without a stem, is simple or usually sprouts and then forms groups. The 16 to 20 lanceolate, narrowed leaves form dense rosettes . The cloudy green leaf blade is 50 to 60 inches long and 6 to 8 inches wide. There are three to five small reddish teeth at its rounded tip. Scattered, cloudy white spots are occasionally present on the leaf surface. The firm, bright red teeth on the usually reddish leaf margin are 2 to 3 millimeters long and 15 to 25 millimeters apart.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence consists of five to six branches and reaches a length of 75 to 90 centimeters. The dense, heady or almost heady grapes are 4 to 6 inches long and 7 inches wide. The bracts have a length of about 3 to 4 millimeters and are 2 millimeters wide. The scarlet, orange or yellow flowers are on 16 to 20 millimeter long peduncles . The flowers are 22 millimeters long and at their base, the base is inverted and tapered briefly. At the level of the ovary , the flowers have a diameter of 5 millimeters. They are expanded beyond that. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 9 to 10 millimeters. The stamens and the pen stand out 3 to 5 millimeters from the flower.

Systematics and distribution
Aloe sinkatana is common in Sudan along dry river beds at altitudes of 875 to 1200 meters.
