Alois Čenský (born June 22, 1868 in Beroun ; † December 29, 1954 in Prague ) was a Czech architect .

Life

Čenský taught from 1896 to 1907 at the technical schools for construction in Pilsen , Písek and Prague . From 1903 to 1921 he worked as an editor for the magazine Architekten-Rundschau (Architektonický obzor) and published several specialist books. In addition, he wrote lesson scripts for his students and created calculation documents for building structures. From 1913 to 1923 he was dean of the Technical College in Prague four times and a member of several commissions. After 1921 he was elected chairman of the college's architects' group.
