Alois Lang (administrative lawyer)
Alois Lang (born June 20, 1805 in Munzingen , † April 25, 1851 in Heidelberg ) was a Baden lawyer and administrative officer.
Life
Born the son of a school teacher, Lang studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau . During his studies he became a member of the old Freiburg fraternity in 1823 , which is why he was imprisoned in Kislau in 1826 . In 1829 he became a legal trainee at the Freiburg Landamt, in 1833 at the Säckingen Landamt and in 1836 as an assessor at the Kenzingen District Office. In 1840 he became a bailiff at the Bretten district office and in 1842 the head of the district office in Blumenfeld and in 1846 at the Waldshut district office . In 1847 he was appointed to the court judge at the court court Unterrheinkreis Mannheim and from 1849 until his death city director and official director at the Oberamt Heidelberg . He received the Medal of Merit from the French Society of the Phoenix in Paris.
