Aloys Hafenbrädl

Aloys Freiherr von Hafenbrädl (born December 22, 1817 at Au Castle , † June 16, 1883 in Regensburg ) was a German judge . After the establishment of the German Empire , he was a member of the Reichstag .

Live and act

Hafenbrädl studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and was active in the Corps Palatia Munich in 1838 . Since 1863 district judge in Regensburg, he became a member of the customs parliament in February 1868 . He was elected to the Reichstag in March 1871 for the constituency of Niederbayern 5 ( Deggendorf ) . As a member of the German Center Party , he belonged to it for the first four electoral terms until October 27, 1881.

He was also a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies from 1869 to 1881. Here he led the extreme group of ultramontanes with his brother Franz Xaver Hafenbrädl (1818–1900) .
