Aloys Henn

Aloys Henn (born November 18, 1902 in Gammelshausen ; † March 4, 1988 in Ratingen ) was a German publisher , local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, he studied philosophy , education , the history of religion , literature , history and art history in Bonn, Munich and Cologne. 1927 doctorate Henn for Dr. phil. He then worked as an assistant at economic institutes and at a publishing house in Dülmen, before setting up on his own . From 1939 to 1981 he was a publisher (Henn-Verlag). Henn was married.

Member of the county council of the former district of Dusseldorf-Mettmann was he of 28 October 1956 to 1969. From 10 April 1961 to 16 October 1964, Henn district administrator of the district. He was also a member of the city council of Ratingen from 1945 to 1955 .

Henn was a member of the landscape assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe and belonged to various committees of the District Council of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Others

He has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class. Henn is the author of numerous books, most of which he published in his own publishing house.
