Altmühldorf is a district of the Upper Bavarian district town of Mühldorf am Inn .

geography

The place is three kilometers west of the city center and south of the Munich – Mühldorf railway line . The southwest of the place is on the Inn .

history

Altmühldorf was the seat of a court mark of the archbishopric of Salzburg , which in 1764 comprised 14 houses and Gütl in Altmühldorf and Ecksberg and was dissolved in the course of secularization in Bavaria . The municipality Altmühldorf was the Gemeindeedikt built by the 1818th It was incorporated into Mühldorf am Inn on May 1, 1978.

The parish church of St. Laurentius is a three-aisled hall church from 1518, the choir dates from 1759.

Former municipal coat of arms

The former municipality of Altmühldorf had its own coat of arms from 1969 until it was dissolved on May 1, 1978 , with a golden ciborium in the upper half and a red mill wheel in the lower half .
