The Aluzore Gap (English; Bulgarian седловина Алузоре sedlowina Alusore ) is a 1050 m high mountain saddle on the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It extends over a length of 3 km in a north-northwest-south-southeast orientation between the Stribog Mountains and the Solvay Mountains . The mountain pass is part of the watershed between the Hippocrates Glacier in the east and the Slatija and Rush Glaciers in the west and southwest. It is located 3.15 km east-southeast of the Veles Bastion , 3.15 km west-northwest of Mount Imhotep , 4.8 km northwest of Galen Peak and 3.2 km northeast of Mount Sarnegor .
British scientists mapped it in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the Roman camp Alusore in southern Bulgaria .
