Mount Sarnegor ( Bulgarian връх Сърнегор wrach Sarnegor ) is a 1150 m high and mostly icy mountain on the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Solvay Mountains it rises 4.4 km southeast of Fleming Point , 2.77 km south of the Veles Bastion , 6.32 km west of Mount Imhotep , 4.7 km north to east of Mount Aciar and 5.26 km east-northeast of the Devene Point . Its south-western and north-western slopes are steep and partly not icy. The Slatija Glacier is to the north, the Rush Glacier to the south and the Aluzore Gap to the east-northeast of it. A western branch of the mountain forms the Sidell Spur .
British scientists mapped it in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the village of Sarnegor in southern Bulgaria .
