The Alvis 10/30 was the first car that Alvis made. It was built from 1920 to 1923.

The car had a four-cylinder in - line engine with valves on the side . Equipped with a single Solex carburetor, the engine with 1460 cc had an output of 30 bhp (22 kW) at 3500 rpm.

The bodies of the 10/30 were often manufactured by Cross & Ellis . The model was available as a Sports Tourer (Roadster). The front and rear rigid axles were suspended from semi-elliptical leaf springs. The top speed was 96 km / h. In 1923 it was replaced by the successor 12/50 SA with hanging valves , which was expanded into an entire series by 1932.
