Alyscha Mottershead (born May 25, 1991 in Orangeville , Ontario , Canada ) is a Canadian soccer player .
Career
societies
Mottershead played from 2008 to 2012 with the Toronto Lady Lynx in the W-League . For the 2013 season she moved to league rivals and reigning champions Ottawa Fury and in January 2014 to the German second division club SC Sand , with whom she was promoted to the women's Bundesliga at the end of the season . After the climb, she left SC Sand and returned to Ottawa. There she made her comeback in the W-League playoffs against the Charlotte Eagles on July 27, 2014 together with the former Bundesliga player Tiffany Cameron . At the end of the year she moved to the Woodbridge Strikers, where she played for six months before joining Seattle Sounders FC in spring 2015 . After the W-League went bankrupt in 2015, Mottershead returned to the Woodbridge Strikers . In January 2017 Mottershead moved to Sweden , to P18 IK , where she will play in Division 1 Södra Svealand with her compatriots Sarah Forde and Christabel Oduro .
National team
Mottershead has been part of various Canadian youth national teams since 2006 and took part in the U-17 World Cup in 2008 , where Canada failed in the quarter-finals against the German selection . On November 22, 2011, she made her debut in a friendly against Sweden in the Canadian national team . For her second and so far last appearance for Canada she came on January 21, 2012 against Cuba .
