Alyxandria Treasure (born May 15, 1992 in Prince George ) is a Canadian high jumper .

Athletic career

Alyxandria Treasure gained her first international experience at the Youth World Championships 2009 in Brixen , where she finished eleventh with 1.75 m. The following year she retired from the Junior World Championships in Moncton with 1.70 m in qualification. In 2011 she won the silver medal at the Pan American Junior Championships in Miramar with a jump of 1.80 m and in 2014 she won the U23 NACAC championships in Kamloops with 1.85 m . In 2015 she first took part in the Pan American Games in Toronto , where she finished seventh with 1.85 m. The following year she qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she finished 17th with 1.88 m in the final . At the World Championships in London 2017, he was eliminated in qualification with a jump of 1.85 m.

In 2018 she participated in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , where she was fourth with 1.91 m. In August she succeeded at the NACAC championships in Toronto but no valid attempt.

From 2014 to 2018, Treasure became the Canadian high jump champion every year. She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in marketing .
