Am Höfchen is a court in the Wuppertal district of Vohwinkel , residential area Schöller-Dornap .

Location and description

Am Höfchen is in the north of Vohwinkel on the Düssel on the street of the same name Am Höfchen near Hahnenfurth, with which it has grown together to form a closed settlement area. Other neighboring places are Niederfurth , Gerhardtsfurth , Heresbach , Heistersfeld and Schöller .

history

In the 19th century as a dwelling place in the rural community was most Höfchen Scholler the mayoralty Haan (1894 mayoralty Gruiten ) from the Berg rule Schoeller emerged. On the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and on the Prussian first survey from 1843, the location is unlabelled.

In 1888, according to the community encyclopedia for the Rhineland province , the town had three houses with 70 inhabitants. The place is called Höffschen at this time .

With the regional reform of 1975, the community of Schöller was split off from the Gruiten office in the Düsseldorf-Mettmann district and incorporated into Wuppertal as the Schöller-Dornap residential area.
