Amandine Guérin (born February 18, 1993 in Bordeaux ) is a former French soccer player . She held the position of goalkeeper .

Club career

Amandine Guérin has been playing soccer in amateur clubs in her native region since she was seven, first with FCC Landes Girondines , from 2002 with US Bouscat , then for six months for FC Sud Blaye and finally with US Saint-Yzan Laruscade . In 2008 she moved to Olympique Lyon , in whose second women's team - alongside Aurélie Kaci and Lara Dickenmann , among others  - she even guarded the goal in a third division game as a 16-year-old. Otherwise, however, their everyday footballing played out in the A-youth team of the club. Therefore, in 2012 she joined the then second division ASJ Soyaux . With the women from the Charente , she immediately developed into the undisputed number one and was thus already significantly involved in Soyaux's return to France's elite league in her first year . Since the 2013/14 season , she has established herself in the secured middle of the table with her women .

In the course of 2016, her heart developed health problems, which meant that Guérin could not play a single compulsory game in the 2016/17 season and ended her playing career. From summer 2017 she will be on Soyaux's payroll as goalkeeping coach .

National player

Internationally, Amandine Guérin has made four appearances in the U-19 team, which she played in spring 2012, when she was at Olympique Lyon. In 2014/15, she also guarded the goal of the B national team in four matches.

In October and November 2014, national coach Philippe Bergeroo called her surprisingly (instead of Philippe or Benameur ) as the third goalkeeper in the French A squad for three internationals, but did not use her. Nevertheless, Bergeroo's Guérin was included in the French squad at the World Cup in Canada at the end of April 2015 , if only as a substitute (remplaçante) in the event that Bouhaddi , Deville or Gérard had to cancel at short notice.

Guérin did not play an international match for France. For this she won the gold medal with the French university selection in July 2015 at the women's football tournament of the Universiade , where she was on the field from the first to the last minute in all six French games.
