Ambrus Nagy (born August 20, 1927 in Budapest , † July 18, 1991 in The Hague , Netherlands ) was a Hungarian sword fencer .
successes
Ambrus Nagy won the bronze medal with the team at the World Championships in Rome in 1955 . At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he reached the final round with the Hungarian team, which they finished in second place behind Italy . Together with Barnabás Berzsenyi , József Marosi , Lajos Balthazár , Béla Rerrich and József Sákovics , Nagy received the silver medal. In 1950 and 1956 he was Hungarian champion in the individual and in 1955 with the team.
