The American Memorial Park on Saipan Island ( Northern Mariana Islands ) is a National Memorial of the United States . It commemorates the Battle of the Mariana Islands in World War II.

Leisure facilities, a museum and a flag memorial will keep the memory of the more than 4,000 dead alive. The park is owned and operated by the Government of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in collaboration with the National Park Service .
