Amphoe Kabin Buri ( Thai : อำเภอ กบินทร์บุรี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the southeast of the Prachin Buri Province . The province of Prachin Buri is located in the east of the central region of Thailand .

geography

Amphoe Kabin Buri is bounded by the following Amphoe (clockwise from the west): the Amphoe Si Maha Phot , Prachantakham and Na Di of the Province of Prachin Buri, the Amphoe Mueang Sa Kaeo and Khao Chakan in the Province of Sa Kaeo and the Amphoe Sanam Chai Khet in Chachoengsao Province .

Important rivers in the district are the Khlong Hanuman, the Khlong Phra Prong and the Maenam Prachin Buri (also called Maenam Bang Pakong ).

history

Kabin Buri was already a city ( Mueang ) during the Ayutthaya period . The administration was in Ban Hanuman. In 1906 the administration was moved to Ban Paknam. On April 1, 1926, the two counties of Mueang Kabin Buri and Aranyaprathet became counties in Prachin Buri Province.

  • Kabin (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กบินทร์ ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Kabin.
  • Mueang Kao (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เมือง เก่า ) consisting of the parts of the Tambon Kabin, Mueang Kao.
  • Sa Bua (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สระ บัว ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Lat Takhian.

There are also 14 " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)

  • Kabin (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล กบินทร์ ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Kabin.
  • Mueang Kao (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เมือง เก่า ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Mueang Kao.
  • Wang Dan (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล วัง ดาล ) consisting of the complete tambon Wang Dan.
  • Nonsi (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล นนทรี ) consisting of the complete Tambon Nonsi.
