Amphoe Na Klang ( Thai : อำเภอ นากลาง , pronunciation: ʔāmpʰɤ̄ː nāː klāːŋ ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Nong Bua Lamphu . The province of Nong Bua Lamphu is located in the western part of the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Neighboring counties and areas are (from the north clockwise): Amphoe Suwannakhuha in Nong Bua Lamphu Province, Kut Chap Amphoe in Udon Thani Province , Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu Amphoe , Si Bun Rueang and Na Wang again in Nong Bua Lamphu, and Amphoe Na Duang in Loei Province .

history

Na Klang was initially set up on July 16, 1965 as a “branch circle” ( King Amphoe ) by separating the three Tambon Na Klang, Kao Kloi and Na Si from the district of Nong Bua Lam Phu. In 1969 it was officially promoted to Amphoe.

Local administration

There are five municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Na Nong Thum (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา หนอง ทุ่ม ) consists of parts of the Tambon Kut Din Chi.
  • Fang Daeng (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ฝั่ง แดง ) consists of the entire Tambon Fang Daeng.
  • Kao Kloi (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เก่า กลอย ) consists of the entire tambon Kao Kloi.
  • Kut Din Chi (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กุด ดิน จี่ ) consists of the remaining parts of the Tambon Kut Din Chi.
  • Na Klang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นากลาง ) consists of parts of the Tambon Na Klang, Dan Chang and Kut Hae.
