The Herzhorn office was an office in the south of the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The administrative seat of the office was in Herzhorn . The office was dissolved at the end of 2007.

history

In 1889 the Herzhorn district was formed from the Engelbrechtsche Wildnis and Herzhorn communities. After the administrative districts were dissolved, the two municipalities formed the Herzhorn office from 1948 .

In 1963, the municipalities of Blomesche Wildnis, Borsfleth, Elskop and Krempdorf joined the Herzhorn office from the dissolved office of Borsfleth.

After the dissolution of the Kollmar office in 1970, its municipalities Groß Kollmar, Klein Kollmar and Neuendorf b. Elmshorn to the office. The Elskop community left and joined the Krempermarsch office . In 1974, large and small Kollmar merged to form today's municipality of Kollmar.

On January 1, 2008, the seven parishes of the Herzhorn office joined the Horst office , which then changed its name to Horst-Herzhorn office .
