history

The office was created in 1948 from the municipalities of the dissolved offices of Anker, Duvensee and Koberg. It initially consisted of eight communities, in 1951 Walksfelde was incorporated. On January 1, 2008, the municipalities of the Nusse office merged with the municipalities of the Sandesneben office to form the new Sandesneben-Nusse office .
