The office Süderlügum was an office in the district of North Friesland in Schleswig-Holstein. The seat of the official administration was Süderlügum.

history

In 1889, the district of Süderlügum was formed in the Tondern district . It consisted of the eight communities Böglum , Braderup, Ellhöft, Holm, Humptrup, Süderlügum, Uphusum and Wimmersbüll as well as part of the manor district of Herrschaftlicher Gotteskoog . After the estate district is dissolved, the areas in the administrative district will be incorporated into the communities of Holm, Humptrup, Uphusum and Wimmersbüll. The municipality of Böglum was incorporated into Ellhöft in 1935.

In 1948 the district was dissolved and the seven municipalities formed the office of Süderlügum. With the dissolution of the office of Klixbüll in 1966, the two communities Bosbüll and Lexgaard came to office. 1970 Wimmersbüll was incorporated into Süderlügum.

On January 1, 2008, the municipalities of the office merged with the city of Niebüll , the municipality of Leck and the municipalities of the offices of Bökingharde , Karrharde and Wiedingharde to form the office of Südtondern .
