The Sassenberg office was an office in what was then the Warendorf district in North Rhine-Westphalia until 1969 . The seat of the office was in the city of Sassenberg .

history

As part of the introduction of the rural community order for the province of Westphalia , the Sassenberg office was formed in the Warendorf district in the Prussian province of Westphalia in 1844 . It consisted of the town of Sassenberg and the communities of Dackmar , Füchtorf , Gröblingen , Velsen and Vohren .

The Sassenberg office was dissolved on July 1, 1969 through the law on the reorganization of communities in the Warendorf district . Dackmar, Füchtorf and Gröblingen were incorporated into the town of Sassenberg, while Velsen and Vohren were incorporated into the town of Warendorf . The legal successor to the office is the city of Sassenberg.
