The Stahnsdorf Office was a Brandenburg office formed in 1992 , in which four municipalities in what was then Potsdam- Land (now Potsdam-Mittelmark , Brandenburg ) had come together to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration was in the municipality Stahnsdorf . The Stahnsdorf office was dissolved again in 2001, the three smaller municipalities belonging to the office were incorporated into the Stahnsdorf municipality. The Stahnsdorf office had 11,785 inhabitants at the end of 2001.

Geographical location

The Stahnsdorf office bordered the municipality of Kleinmachnow in the north, the city of Teltow in the northeast, the Ludwigsfelde-Land office and the city of Ludwigsfelde in the east and south, the Rehbrücke office in the southwest and the city of Potsdam in the west .

history

The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued on 22 October 1992 its approval to the formation of the Office Stahnsdorf. October 16, 1992 was set as the date for the establishment of the office; the office was located in the municipality of Stahnsdorf . At the time the office was established, the following municipalities were assigned to what was then the Potsdam- Land district:

  1. Schenkenhorst
  2. Sputendorf
  3. Güterfelde
  4. Stahnsdorf

At the end of 1992 the Stahnsdorf office had 7888 inhabitants. On December 31, 2001 the communities Güterfelde, Schenkenhorst and Sputendorf were incorporated into the community Stahnsdorf; at the same time the Stahnsdorf office was dissolved.
