The Lebach District Court is a German court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of ten district courts in the district of the Saarbrücken Regional Court .

Seat and District of the Court

Location of the local courts in the respective judicial districts in Saarland

The court has its seat in the city of Lebach in Saarland .

The judicial district includes the area of ​​the city of Lebach and that of the communities of Nalbach , Saarwellingen and Schmelz . This means that the district is around 187  km 2 in size. Around 56,000 people live in it (as of September 30, 2017).

Courthouse

The main building is located at Saarbrücker Straße 10 in Lebach. The Lebach juvenile detention center is also in the building.

Superior courts

The Saarbrücken regional court is superordinate to the Lebach district court . The competent higher regional court is the Saarland Higher Regional Court , also based in Saarbrücken.
