District court St. Wendel
The St. Wendel District Court is a German court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of ten district courts in the district of the Saarbrücken Regional Court .
Seat and District of the Court
The court has its seat in the city of St. Wendel in Saarland .
The judicial district includes the area of the city of St. Wendel and that of the communities Freisen , Marpingen , Namborn , Nohfelden , Nonnweiler , Oberthal , and Tholey and thus the entire district of St. Wendel . This means that the district is around 476 km 2 in size. Around 88,000 people live in it (as of September 30, 2017).

The courthouse is located at Schorlemerstraße 33 in St. Wendel.
Superior courts
The Saarbrücken Regional Court is superordinate to the St. Wendel District Court. The competent higher regional court is the Saarland Higher Regional Court , also based in Saarbrücken.
