The District Court of Homburg is a German court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of ten district courts in the district of the Saarbrücken Regional Court .

Seat and District of the Court

Location of the local courts in the respective judicial districts in Saarland

The court has its seat in the city of Homburg in Saarland .

The judicial district includes the cities of Homburg, Bexbach and Blieskastel as well as the communities of Gersheim and Kirkel . The district is about 310  km 2 in size. Around 97,000 people live in it (as of September 30, 2017).

Courthouse

The main building is located at Zweibrücker Straße 24 in Homburg. The branch on Luitpoldplatz in Blieskastel was closed on September 30, 2011.

Superior courts

The District Court of Saarbrücken is superordinate to the District Court of Homburg . The competent higher regional court is the Saarland Higher Regional Court , also based in Saarbrücken.
