The Ottweiler District Court is a German court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of ten district courts in the district of the Saarbrücken Regional Court .

The court has its seat in the city of Ottweiler in Saarland .

The judicial district includes the area of ​​the city of Ottweiler and that of the communities Eppelborn , Illingen , Merchweiler , and Schiffweiler . The district is about 163  km ^{2 in} size. Around 74,000 people live in it (as of September 30, 2017).

Superior courts

The Saarbrücken Regional Court is superordinate to the Ottweiler District Court. The competent higher regional court is the Saarland Higher Regional Court , also based in Saarbrücken.
