District court Ueckermünde
The district court of Ueckermünde was a court of the ordinary jurisdiction of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, most recently in the district of the district court of Neubrandenburg . Due to the reform of the judicial structure , the Ueckermünde District Court was repealed on December 1, 2014.

The court had its seat in the city of Ueckermünde .

With the dissolution of the court, all cities and municipalities were incorporated into the district of the Pasewalk District Court .
When the judicial structure reform came into force, the Anklam District Court was converted into a branch in the district of the Pasewalk District Court. In certain matters, this is also responsible for the cities and municipalities of the former district court district of Ueckermünde.

the Anklam branch is exclusively responsible for juvenile criminal matters , housing and deprivation of liberty matters as well as in matters of advisory assistance and care matters.
The Anklam branch is responsible for the entire district of the Pasewalk district court and, since December 1, 2014, for all cities and municipalities of the former district of Ueckermünde in land registry matters as well as foreclosure and foreclosure matters.

The court was housed in Ueckermünde under the address Richtstrasse 16 . The listed building was built in 1908 and 1909.
Superior courts
The District Court of Stralsund was initially superordinate to the District Court of Ueckermünde . In 1994 the jurisdiction changed to the district court of Neubrandenburg . The competent higher regional court was the higher regional court in Rostock .
