District court Pasewalk
The district court Pasewalk is a court of the ordinary jurisdiction of the state Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the district of the regional court Neubrandenburg .
Seat and District of the Court
The seat of the court is Pasewalk .
The judicial district comprised the following cities and municipalities until the judicial structural reform came into force on October 6, 2014.

The following towns and communities , which previously belonged to the district of the Anklam district court, were incorporated into the district of the Pasewalk District Court .
- Anklam,
- Bargischow,
- Boldekow,
- Bugewitz,
- Ducherow,
- New Kosenow,
- Rossin and
- Sarnow
The district court of Anklam was converted into a branch in the district of the district court of Pasewalk.
Furthermore, due to the dissolution of the Ueckermünde District Court on December 1, 2014, the following cities and communities were assigned to the judicial district of the Pasewalk District Court.

The judicial district , which was originally around 860 km 2 in size, was enlarged to around 1960 km 2 through the reform of the judicial structure . About 85,000 people live in it.
Buildings and history
The courthouse is located at Grünstraße 61 in Pasewalk. The foundation stone was laid on the former cloister courtyard in 1903. The building was occupied two years later. An extension was built in 2003 and 2004.
The Anklam branch can be found at Baustraße 9 in the Lilienthalcenter on Anklamer Markt.
Superior courts
The district court of Stralsund was initially superordinate to the district court of Pasewalk . In 1994 the jurisdiction changed to the district court of Neubrandenburg . The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court in Rostock .
