Amy Vincent
Amelia "Amy" Vincent (* 1959 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American camerawoman .
Life
Amy Vincent studied theater and film at the University of California, Santa Cruz . She got her first job as an archivist at Warner Bros. She then worked from 1984 to 1987 in sound editing, before receiving an internal grant in 1987 to work as a camera assistant. She stayed with the camera and later studied camera at the American Film Institute from 1991 to 1993 . During all these years she was active as a camera assistant and made her debut in 1995 with the drama Animal Room, directed by Craig Singer , her first feature film as the main camerawoman. For her work on Eve's Bayou , she received a 1998 Satellite Award nomination for Best Camera.
