Ana Siulolo Liku (born January 9, 1974 ) is a former Tongan athlete .

Career

In 1996 Liku took part in the Summer Olympics in Atlanta , USA , where she finished 28th in the long jump with 6.06 m. At the Summer Games four years later in Sydney , Australia , the Tongan athlete reached eighth and last place in her prelim over 100 m hurdles after 14.58 s. Liku was also the flag bearer of Tonga at the opening ceremony of the Games in 2000.

At the 1997 World Championships in Athens Liku was 19th in the long jump, two years later in Seville she was eliminated as seventh in the 100 m heat.

Liku was five times Oceania champion over 100 m, 100 m hurdles and in the triple jump (1996) and in the long jump (1998, 2000). In addition, she was able to win three silver medals in the 100 m, 100 m hurdles (both in 1998) and in the long jump (1996) at Oceania Championships.

At the South Pacific Games in 1995 and 1999, the Tongan won medals in the long jump (gold 1995, 1999), over 100 m hurdles (gold 1995), triple jump (silver 1995, bronze 1999) and over 100 m (bronze 1999) .

At the South Pacific Mini Games 1997 in Pago Pago Liku won the competitions in the 100-meter run , long jump and triple jump and received the silver medal in the 100-meter hurdles .

The personal best of the 165 centimeter tall and 55 kilogram athlete was 12.2 s over 100 m (1996), 13.8 s over 100 m hurdles (1997), 6.23 m in the long jump (1995) and 12.29 m in the triple jump (1996).
