Analytique

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The analytique (French: analysis) in the field of architecture and graphic design is a method of representation for drafts and buildings that was taught at the French École des Beaux-Arts .

The way in which the Analytique is presented is not a precisely dimensioned architectural drawing , but an architectural drawing that depicts the concept , the construction and the architectural intention of the architect . It is also used to analyze a design through graphic representation.

Several drawings ( floor plans , sections , views and detail drawings ) are arranged on a plan . Different standards are often combined. It is not uncommon for the drawings to overlap (for example the floor plans of several floors ).

Conventional analytiques usually contain a floor plan, a section through the building, a facade view , a detail and a perspective or isometric drawing .
