Anarbek Orman

Anarbek Onggharuly Orman ( Kazakh Анарбек Оңғарұлы Орман , Russian Анарбек Онгарович Орман Anarbek Ongarowitsch Orman ; born August 25, 1952 ) is a Kazakh businessman and politician .

Life

Anarbek Orman was born in 1952 in what is now the Piskent District in Uzbekistan . He graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute in 1974 .

He began his professional career in 1970 as an employee in a secondary school in the Piskent district. After two years he went into business and worked for the municipal companies Wodokanal in Chimkent . Between 1981 and 1986 Orman worked for the city administration of Tschimkent before he worked again for Wodokanal. Between 1992 and 1994 he was first deputy and then first deputy head of the city administration of Schymkent and in the following two years he worked again for the company Wodokanal. On October 16, 1995 he was appointed Äkim (Mayor) of Shymkent. He held this post for about two years; afterwards he was head of the state enterprise Wodnye ressursy and at the same time deputy Äkim (governor) of southern Kazakhstan . From October 1999 to 2006 he was employed again at Wodokanal. On September 27, 2006 Orman was named Äkim of the city of Shymkent for the second time. He then headed the marketing department of Vodnyje ressursy. From October 2009 to February 2012, he was chairman of the water resources committee in the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and then became general director of Vodokanal. Orman has been regional chairman of the Ak Schol Democratic Party in the Turkistan region since June 2012 .
