Anastassija Anatoljewna Weschtschikowa ( Russian Анастасия Анатольевна Вещикова ; born July 28, 1995 in Moscow ) is a Russian ski jumper .

Career

Weschtschikowa made her debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup on August 14, 2010 , after she had reported several times in the previous year but did not start. She collected her first Continental Cup points in January 2011 with two 30th places in Braunlage . Also in the following competitions in Ljubno she reached the second round twice and collected more points. At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Otepää she reached the 34th place in individual jumping. In February of the same year she was part of the team at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo , where she reached 41st place on the normal hill. For the 2011/12 season Weschtschikowa received a place in the Russian national team and made her debut in the ski jumping World Cup on December 3, 2011 . She remained without a point and subsequently started in the Continental Cup at the same time. At the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck , Weschtschikowa jumped 10th in the individual and 13th place with the team. With two unsuccessful World Cup starts in Sochi in December 2012 , Weschtschikowa completed her last international competitions for the time being.

At the Russian Championships in 2014, she won the gold medal with the mixed team.
