Anastassija Gennadjewna Wassina Barsuk ( Russian Анастасия Геннадьевна Васина Барсук , English transcription : Anastasia Vasina Barsuk; born December 18, 1987 in Moscow ) is a Russian beach volleyball player .

Career

Wassina played her first open tournaments with Svetlana Popowa in 2008 . The following year she and Galina Boiko made it into the top ten for the first time at the Grand Slam in Gstaad. At the European Championships in Sochi , she was also ninth with her new partner Yekaterina Chomjakowa after she was eliminated as third in the group in the preliminary round. In 2010 the duo finished ninth in Stavanger and fifth in Stare Jabłonki . The European Championship in Berlin ended for the Russians again after the preliminary round.

In 2011 Wassina initially competed with Yevgenia Ukolova before she formed a new duo with Anna Vosakowa at the Grand Slam in Beijing . Wassina / Wosakowa came in second in the group in the first main round at the World Championships in Berlin and were there defeated by the Italians Cicolari / Menegatti . In 2012 Wassina / Wosakowa took part in the Olympic tournament in London and finished ninth.
