Anay Tejeda Quesada (born April 3, 1983 in Havana ) is a Cuban hurdler who specializes in the 100 meter distance .

The junior world champion from 2002 was eighth at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo in 2003 and was eliminated from the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens . In 2005 she reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Helsinki , and in 2006 she won gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games.

In 2007 she was fifth at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and won bronze with the Cuban team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . At the World Championships in Osaka , she was eliminated again in the semifinals.

In 2008 she won bronze at the World Indoor Championships in Valencia and gold at the Central American and Caribbean Championships. At the Olympic Games in Beijing , she reached the semifinals.

In 2008 she defended her title at the Central American and Caribbean Championships and reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Berlin . The following year she was fourth at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and was Ibero-American champion.

Anay Tejeda is 1.65 m tall and weighs 59 kg. She is trained by Santiago Antúnez.
