Anders Baasmo Christiansen (also Anders Baasmo ) (born January 29, 1976 in Hamar ) is a Norwegian actor .

Life

Baasmo Christiansen attended the State Theater School in Oslo , which he graduated in 2000. He began his acting career at Trøndelag Teater , followed by roles at various other theaters, including Det Norske Teatret and Riksteatret .

He had his breakthrough as a film actor in 2003 with his role in the film Buddy , for which he was awarded the Amanda Prize for Best Actor. This was followed by roles in various Norwegian and Scandinavian films, including in Arn - The Crusader , Kon-Tiki and The King's Choice - Attack on Norway , as well as in the television series Dag , for which he was awarded the Gullruten three times . This makes him the first actor to be awarded all four of Norway's major acting awards.

Baasmo Christiansen lives in Oslo and is in a relationship with the actress Marie Blokhus , with whom he has a son (* 2018).
