Anders Kjellberg (* 9. July 1952 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish drummer of modern jazz .

Kjellberg became a professional musician in 1973 and initially played in local bands such as Soffgruppen , Änglaspel , Mount Everest and Entra . In 1979 he became a member of Lars Jansson's trio . In the early 1980s he worked with Lars Danielsson and Anders Jormin and from 1981 in Bobo Stenson's Rena Rama . In 1983 he played with Danielsson, Göran Klinghagen and Anders Persson in the formation Time Unit . In 1989 he was a member of Eje Thelin's Big Band ( Raggruppamento ).

In the 1990s he worked with Nils Landgren , Cæcilie Norby , Jeanette Lindström and Jan Wallgren , among others ; In 1993 Kjellberg worked on Don Cherry's ECM album Dona Nostra . In 1994 he played in the Lars Danielsson Quartet ( Contra Post ) and with Hans Ulrik .

In 2009 he toured with Palle Danielsson and Rita Marcotulli .
