Anders Wahlstedt (born July 17, 1964 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish squash player .

Career

Anders Wahlstedt played on the PSA World Tour from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s and won three titles on the tour during that time. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 18 in January 1988. With the Swedish national team he took part in 1985 , 1987 , 1989 and 1991 in the world championship , he was also in the Swedish squad at several European championships . In 1988 and 1992 he was the Swedish national champion . In 1987 and 1988 he was in the main draw of the World Cup, where he was eliminated in the first round both times.

Wahlstedt moved to New York City in 1990 and was eligible to play at the US championships in 1994 , which he then won. The following year, participation without a US passport was no longer possible, but according to the rules of the world association at the time, he was allowed to play for the US national team. So he entered for this again in 1995 at the team world championship.

Following his career, he worked as an art dealer with his own gallery in New York City. He is married and has a daughter.
