Career

society

Andrea Coda began his career in the youth teams of AS Lucchese Libertas and FC Empoli . In the 2004/05 season he was included in the professional squad of FC Empoli and was able to fit into the Tuscans' core team straight away. In the same season he won the Serie B championship with Empoli and rose with the team to the highest Italian league. The following season Coda played as a regular player and reached eighth place in Serie A with Empoli . Despite this success, he then left the club and moved to Udinese Calcio . In the first two years in Udine with the team, he fell short of expectations and the team missed qualifying for the UEFA Cup . Even in the 2008/09 season , the team was denied entry into international business. In the 2009/10 season, Coda finally established himself in the team and rose to become a top performer in defense. In 2013 and 2014 he was temporarily loaned to FC Parma and AS Livorno . In 2015 he was signed by Sampdoria Genoa , but only made six appearances during the season. In 2016 he moved to the first division promoted Delfino Pescara 1936 , with whom he remained under contract even after the immediate relegation to the second division.

Andrea Coda went through from the U-15 to all of Italy's national youth teams. On October 7, 2005 he made his debut in the U-21 national team of the Squadra Azzurra under coach Claudio Gentile in the game against Slovenia. Coda was appointed to the Italian team for the U-21 European Championship 2006 and U-21 European Championship 2007 , but was not used in either tournament in any game.
