Andrea Mayo (born January 6, 1991 in Soldier Pond ) is an American biathlete .

Andrea Mayo lives in Canmore . She won both sprint and pursuit titles in the youth races of the 2009 North American Summer Biathlon Championships in Jericho . At the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby Mayo was 57th of the individual and 65th of the sprint race. At the North American Invitational 2012 in Jericho, she was third behind Audrey Vaillancourt and Danika Frisbie in the junior pursuit race. Mayo has started with women since the 2012/13 season . In Jericho she reached the podium for the first time in sprint and pursuit with third places behind Katrina Howe and Clare Egan . In addition, she was third in the overall ranking of the competition behind Claude Godbout and Julia Ransom . The highlight of the season was the 2013 North American Biathlon Championships at Whistler Olympic Park in Whistler , where it was ninth in the sprint and eleventh in the pursuit.
