Andreas Bliemel
Andreas Bliemel (born May 1950 in Dresden ; † October 15, 2015 in Cologne ) was a German painter .
Life
Bliemel was a trained decorative painter and studied, among other things, at the University of Fine Arts in Dresden .
In the early 1980s he worked as a set designer for the Nordhausen Theater .
Since 1984 he lived and worked in Cologne and ran a painting and painting school there. In addition to his studio, he has been a lecturer at the Heimbach International Art Academy since 2009 .
Bliemel died on October 15, 2015 and was buried in Cologne's Ostfriedhof .
